राजनीति से लेकर फिल्मों की दुनिया तक अपनी अमिट छाप छोड़ने वाले एम करुणानिधि का 03 जून को जन्म हुआ था। वह एक सफल राजनेता, पत्रकार, साहित्यकार, प्रकाशक कार्टूनिस्ट और समाजसुधारक थे। जब उन्होंने फिल्मों के लिए लिखना शुरू किया, वह तमिल इंडस्ट्री में छा गए और जब राजनीति में आए, तो ताउम्र चुनाव नहीं हारे। एम करुणानिधि पांच बार राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री बने और जब तक जिंदा थे, राजनीति के केंद्र में बने रहे। तो आइए जानते हैं उनकी बर्थ एनिवर्सरी के मौके पर एम करुणानिधि के जीवन से जुड़ी कुछ रोचक बातों के बारे में...जन्म और परिवारतमिलनाडु के तिरुकुवालाई में 03 जून 1924 को एम करुणानिधि का जन्म हुआ था। यहां से ही उन्होंने आगे की पढ़ाई लिखाई की। बचपन में उनका नाम दक्षिणमूर्ति था, वहीं एक आंदोलन से प्रभावित होकर उन्होंने अपना नाम करुणानिधि रख लिया।फिल्मी करियरमहज 20 साल की उम्र में वह ज्यूपिटर पिक्चर्स से बतौर लेखक जुड़ गए। उनकी पहली फिल्म राजकुमारी रिलीज हुई और इस फिल्म से उनको फेम मिला। इसके बाद एम करुणानिधि ने राजा रानी, मदुरै मीनाक्षी, रंगून राधा, अबिमन्यु, देवकी, पराशक्ति, पनम, तिरुम्बिपार समेत कई सुपरहिट फिल्मों की कहानी लिखी। 20 साल से लेखन कार्य शुरू करके वह 87 साल की उम्र तक लिखते रहे। इस बीच कई ब्लॉकबस्टर फिल्में उनकी कलम से निकलीं। सिर्फ फिल्मों के लिए ही नहीं बल्कि उन्होंने टीवी सीरियल्स के लिए भी स्क्रिप्ट और डायलॉग भी लिखे थे।इसे भी पढ़ें: Chaudhary Bhajanlal Death Anniversary: अल्पमत सरकार को बहुमत में बदलने का हुनर रखते थे भजनलाल, 3 बार बने थे हरियाणा के CMराजनीतिक सफरएक करुणानिधि ने महज 14 साल की उम्र में राजनीति में कदम रखा और पूरी जिंदगी राजनीति के केंद्र में बने रहे। उन्होंने हिंदी विरोधी और जातीय भेदभाव को खत्म करने और सामाजिक बदलावों के लिए चलाए जा रहे आंदोलनों में हिस्सा लिया। वहीं 17 साल की उम्र में उन्होंने एक छात्र संगठन बनाया। कहा जाता है कि करुणानिधि राजनीति की दुनिया के ऐसे धुरंधर थे, जो सदियों में एक बार पैदा होते हैं। भले ही वह तमिलनाडु की राजनीति करते थे, लेकिन उनकी धमक प्रधानमंत्री की कुर्सी तक थी।राजनीति में आप करुणानिधि के कद का अंदाजा इस बात से भी लगा सकते हैं कि वह अपने 80 साल के सियासी सफर में कभी भी चुनाव में नहीं हारे। जोकि अपने आप में बेमिसाल है। 1940 के दशक में उनको डीएमके की प्रचार समिति में शामिल किया गया। वहीं पहली बार 33 साल की उम्र में वह कुलिथलाई से चुनाव लड़े। इसके बाद उन्होंने कभी पीछे मुड़कर नहीं देखा। वह 13 बार विधायक बने। फिर साल 1967 में उनको लोक निर्माण मंत्री बनाया गया। वहीं सीएन अन्नादुरै की मौत के बाद साल 1969 में एम करुणानिधि डीएमके के अध्यक्ष बने और राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री बने। हालांकि उनका पहला कार्यकाल सिर्फ 2 साल रहा।इसके बाद वह साल 1971 में फिर सीएम बने और 1976 तक इस पद पर रहे। तीसरी बार साल 1989 में, चौथी बार 1996 में और पांचवी बार साल 2006 में तमिलनाडु के मुख्यमंत्री बने। उन्होंने साल 2016 में आखिरी चुनाव लड़ा था। वह अपनी आखिरी सांस तक डीएमके के अध्यक्ष बने रहे। वहीं अपने कार्यकाल में एम करुणानिधि ने कई उल्लेखनीय कार्य किए थे। मृत्युवहीं 07 अगस्त 2018 को लंबी बीमारी के बाद 94 साल की उम्र में एम करुणानिधि की मौत हो गई।
